CENTRAL POWER SYSTEMS
|
These systems usually comprise a large battery of
between 10 Ah and several hundred Ah charged by a sophisticated system to
maximize battery life and in the case of vented cells to minimize electrolyte
loss. Larger scaled lead acid batteries are available with a design life in
excess of 10 years.
These function in the same way as vented cells but require no
maintenance.

Powerlight XPS
System |
- Chargers are electronically controlled.
- Designed to operate at full power in ambient
temperatures up to 40°c.
- Available for maintained, non-maintained &
floating output.
- Vented cells for easy maintenance.
|
The JSB range of powerlight plus sine wave static
inverters comprises robust reliable central battery systems in which the DC
battery is converted to AC at appropriate voltage and frequency.
The main advantage, compared to a central battery
system, is that standard mains luminaires may be used, this giving specifiers
complete flexibility of design.

MDX Conversion Modules
|
- Pulse width modulation techniques.
- Battery protected against over
charging.
- Constant voltage and current limited
charger.
- Battery protected from deep discharge.
- Suitable for use with value regulated
batteries.
|
- Temperature compensated control is included on
all chargers.
- Stabilize the output with an efficient filter
to achieve a pure sine wave.
The
EASICHECK offers test results
and assurance of correct operation for any emergency lighting
system.
Answer to this complex problem
is the JSB Easicheck addressable emergency lighting test system, which provides
the responsible person with test results and assurance of correct
operation.
Testing is performed and can be conveniently timed to coincide with periods
when a building is unoccupied. Any fault can be easily pinpointed and diagnoses
of faults reported automatically at the central control panel. Test results can
be printed off quickly, instead of compiling a lengthy hand written
records. |
